Jesse Snyder

Jesse Snyder, of Harrington, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Delaware Hospice surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 81.  He was the son of the late Russell and Estella Snyder.

Jesse was a very hardworking man.  He worked at Callaway Vault Company  in Milford before retiring from Oakcrest Vault & Burial Company in 2000.   After retirement, Jesse kept working as a handy man, snow plowing, and using his little red dump truck.

Jesse loved to work in his yard, and took great pride in his place, always keeping his home and vehicles clean.  He was an upstanding, friendly, man who enjoyed talking with others.  Jesse will be missed by his family and friends.

Jesse is survived by his two daughters: Stella and Betty Lou Snyder; grandson, Jonathan Short; sisters: Betty Crocker of Georgia and Lois Bailey of New Hampshire.

Funeral services will take place at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE 19952, on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 1 PM with a visitation for family and friends one hour prior.
