Jennifer J. Stubbs, 42

SEAFORD — Jennifer J. Stubbs daughter of Barney E. (Sherri) Stubbs, and JoAnne Matthews passed away, Thursday, August 25, 2016.

Jennifer was a faithful employee of Del Dot for over 23 years as a Financial Administrative Officer.  She enjoyed going to the Delaware State Fair showing sheep and watching her son in the Demolition Derby. She liked to play pool, ride motorcycles, watch stock car dirt track racing, cooking and camping.  She was a member of the Harrington Women of the Moose, American Legion C.K.R.T #7, and Seaford VFW.

She was a kind, loving, individual who always had a smile on her face. She was respectful of others and your spirits were always lifted whenever she was around. She was always giving to others, and never afraid to make new friends.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Ernest M. and S. Virginia Smith and Woodrow Wilson; maternal grandparents, Samuel and  Lelia Anne Matthews; and paternal grandfather, Edgar Stubbs.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by the love of her life Alvin E. Foraker; her son, Byron S. Morgan; grandson, Jackson Morgan; her other father,  Sheldon Butler Sr.; brothers, Jimmy (Kacie) Messick, L.B. (Kellie) Stubbs, Sheldon (Stephanie) Butler, Jr.; sister, Jenna Stubbs; paternal grandmother,  Thelma Stubbs; and her Aunt and Uncle, Roberta and Larry Stubbs.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Melvin Funeral Home 15522 S. DuPont Hwy. Harrington DE from 12PM-2PM, Funeral Services  will immediately follow at 2PM. Burial will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington, DE.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Prospect United Methodist Church or Calvary Wesleyan Church, both in Harrington.
