HARRINGTON — James W. Reed passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 in Harrington. He was 44.
When Mr. Reed wasn’t working in construction, he enjoyed playing video games and running remote controlled cars. He loved to barbecue with family and friends.
Mr. Reed was a charming, fun loving and knowledgeable person. If you asked him something he could spend hours giving you information. He enjoyed debating and would debate on anything. He was always trying to persuade you to his way of thinking.
Mr. Reed was a very proud father and grandfather who loved spending time with his children.
He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Reed and his brother, Shayne Reed.
He is survived by his mother, Diana Benton (husband Robert) of Felton; son, Branden Reed of Felton; daughters, Jessica Kanauss of Hartly, Rachel Reed of Felton, Jamie Reed of Felton; granddaughter, Madelyn Kanauss of Hartly; sisters, Marcia Reese of Harrington and Paula Carroll of Georgetown.
Memorial Services will be 7 p.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2014 with a Gathering of Friends one hour prior.
