James H. Hamilton Jr. of Felton passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011, at the Silver lake Nursing Home in Dover. He was 75.
Mr. Hamilton was born on August 30, 1936 near Bridgeville, DE, son of the late James Hamilton and Grace E. Hamilton-Dill.
He was a painter, carpenter, farm hand, and handyman all his life, working around the Felton and Harrington areas mostly. He was known for his meticulous painting skills, as he never spilled a drop on himself or his projects.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Donald P. and John Hamilton.
He is survived by three sisters, Pearl E. Fisher and husband Mitch of Felton, Doris L. Shane and husband Junior of Smyrna, Virginia L. Wasson of Lincoln; one brother Leon W. Hamilton of Lincoln; stepfather Robert P. Dill of Greenwood; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday, December 29, 2011, at 1 PM, at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro.
