Heidi Collins of Chester, MD, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the John Hopkins Hospital, she was 63. She was the daughter of the late, Olaf and Eva Bartmann.
Ms. Collins worked with computers in the I.T. support department of the USDA.
Ms. Collins was a very gifted artist who worked with ceramics. She was a featured artist on the McCormick website. She loved the beach and often crafted crab items. She was a strong willed woman who always told the truth even when you didn’t want to hear it. She was a great joy to her grandchildren which were the loves of her life as well as her dogs.
Ms. Collins is survived by her daughter Nicole Rettig; granddaughter Dominque Collier and grandson Nicholas Rettig.
Services will be held privately by the family.
