Gregory S Rains

Gregory S. Rains, 65, of Ellendale, DE, passed away on July 24, 2022 surrounded by loved ones at the Delaware Hospice Center.  He was the son of Louise Rains and the late Timmy Lee Rains.

Greg was a welder with Baltimore Air Coil for several years.

Greg was a jack of all trades with a big heart who took great pride in his family.  He loved his Harleys almost as much as he loved his grandkids.  Greg was a caring man who was always willing to help others, and loved working in his large vegetable garden.  He enjoyed watching wrestling, never missed a match. Greg was well known and well loved by all.

Greg is preceded in death by his lifetime companion, Cindy Kelly and sister, Christine “Gigi” Smith.

Greg is survived by his two daughters, Christina Rains and Tiffany Rains; 6 grandchildren; siblings, Tammy Greenly, Dale Rains, Mike Rains, Brian Rains, Kevin Rains, Timmy Rains, Jackie Rains, and Penny Erli.

A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
