Eric A. Harding

Eric Harding, of Harrington, passed away Nov. 24, 2017 at home.  He was the son of the late Donald and Marilyn Harding.

Eric was a former dispatcher at Win Transportation in Maryland.

Eric loved to spend time with family and friends playing pool, horseshoes, and fishing. He enjoyed watching Nascar and the Baltimore Ravens.  Though Eric had a tough exterior he was very loving, took great care of his wife, and had a good heart. He had a great smile, always tried to make others laugh.

In addition to his parents, Eric was preceded in death by his nephew, Steven Hydock.

Eric is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Shirley Harding; sons, Shawn Harding and Daniel Harding (fiancée Christina Spence); Brandy DiSalvo, raised as a daughter; brothers, Greg Harding (Lora), Kevin Harding (Cathy); sister, Valerie Hydock; granddaughter, Harper Lee; nieces, Brianna and Rachel; and a nephew, Ryan.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at Bowers Fire Company, 3285 Main St, Frederica, DE 19946 from 12 to 4 p.m.  Casual attire is welcome.  Luncheon will be provided, covered dishes are not necessary.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE 19952 to help defray memorial costs.
