Elaine Gaglione

d. January 4, 2023

Elaine A. Gaglione, Greenwood, passed away peacefully at her home, on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, she was 82.  She was born in Colchester, Vermont to the late, Paul and Genevieve Makowski.

In her younger years, Mrs. Gaglione owned a bakery in Towson, MD.  She recently retired as a Senior Shopper for the Harvest Years Senior Center of Camden, where she helped provide assistance to individuals with their grocery shopping and other needs.

One of her favorite activities was watching football and cheering on the Eagles.  She loved to spend time with family, especially her grandchildren.  Another favorite activity was shopping for clothes.  Throughout her life, fashion was always very important to her, and she always made sure she looked her best no matter what.  Even if she spent the day at home, she always kept her hair done, make-up just perfect, and presented the best version of herself that she could.

Mrs. Gaglione will be remembered the most by her selfless ways, the way she enjoyed helping others and caring for those around her.  She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, MSgt Anthony Gaglione, USAF, Retired; brother, Colonel Paul Makowski, US Army, Retired; and a sister, Janice R. Cresap.

She is survived by a son, Mark (Amanda) Gaglione; daughter, Michelle (Marvin) Johnson; grandchildren, Jeremy Gaglione, Shane Gaglione, Jon Gaglione, Eric Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Nicole Durham; and 5 great grandchildren.
