Edward Thompson

Edward Thompson, Felton, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at his home, he was 67.  Edward was born in Dover, DE to the late, Edith Minner and step father, Harold Minner.

Edward worked for the State of Delaware in the maintenance yard until he left there and went to work for Keller Truck Parts as a salesman.

During high school, Edward was a star athlete in cross country and long distance track and won many trophies.  When he was not busy with work, Edward enjoyed watching the Baltimore Orioles and the Ravens play, was a huge Bill Elliott fan for NASCAR, and splitting his own firewood for the house.  Edward was a family man and was a crucial part of the family.  He was very close to his mom and his grandchildren meant the world to him and he loved spending time with them.  Edward was always dependable, when you called on him for anything, he was always there and there for the long haul.  He was truly a stand up guy and missed by all that knew and loved him.

Edward is survived by his wife, Connie Thompson; step sons, Stephen (Jennifer) Gray, Timothy Gray; brother, Roy (Brenda) Thompson; grandchildren, Rosalynn Gray, Zoey Gray; nephew, Wayne Thompson.

Services will be held at a later date and at the convenience of the family.
