Edward A Darling

Edward A Darling, 78 of Harrington, passed away at home on June 28, 2024.  He was the son of the late Alberta and Thomas Darling.

Edward worked as a forklift driver for the Solo Cup Co.  He was also a former member of the Harrington Volunteer Fire Company for over ten years. In his free time, Edward and his late wife enjoyed being on a bowling league in Milford. They also liked to travel, especially to visit family in Michigan. His other hobbies included fishing, spending time on the computer, and watching NCIS.

Edward was a hard-working man, who liked to talk to others, and was always joking around. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Edward is preceded in death by his wife, Florence; children, Thomas Darling, Nancy Blackburn, Carey Dover; and siblings, Patricia Watkins, and Francis Stoike.

He is survived by his children, Donna Rothenberg, Florence Sharpe, and Brandon Werner; siblings, Dwayne Darling, Phyllis Alexander, and Marilyn Troff; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Hollywood Cemetery, Milford-Harrington Hwy., Harrington, DE.
