Edward L. Angwin, 94

HARRINGTON — Edward L. Angwin, of Harrington, died Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 94.

Mr. Angwin served his country proudly in the United States Army, the 29th Division, during World War II, and participated in the Invasion of Normandy. He was very patriotic and loved his country very much, and belonged to the American Legion CKRT #7 of Harrington. He would only buy products that he knew were made in America.

Mr. Angwin worked for over 25 years as a pharmaceutical wholesaler. He was born and resided in Glendale and Ridgewood, N.Y., until he moved to Dover, 30 years ago, and for the past 11 years, resided in Harrington. He was also a jack of all trades, and could fix anything. In his spare time, he enjoyed crafts, and reading. He enjoyed reading editorials, forums and working on jumbo puzzles, crosswords, etc. He was an avid animal lover as well. Although at times he was very opinionated and stubborn and set in his ways, he could be flexible. He will be sadly missed.
