Dorothy M. Pearce, 90
HARRINGTON — Dorothy M. Pearce of Harrington passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at her home. She was 90. Born to the late Robert and Stella Roach.
Mrs. Pearce was a telephone operator for over 35 years for Bell Atlantic in Baltimore. When she was not hard at work, she did enjoy being at home, working around the house and cooking. She loved spending time with her family, and loved to spoil her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, George Pearce; son, Patrick Pearce; brother, William Sentz; and sister, Rosalee Pearce.
She is survived by son, Michael R. (Dolores) Pearce, Sr. of Harrington; grandchildren, Patrick Jr., Michael (Joyce) Jr., and Robert M. Pearce; three great grandchildren, Chelsea, Ryan and Erin.
Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
