FELTON - Doris M. Miller passed away on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 at the Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. She was born to the late Mae Elizabeth and William Claude Davis.

Mrs. Miller worked as a secretary for the W.C. Davis Inc., and she also worked as an assistant assessor for the Borough of Haddon Heights, N.J. As a little girl, Mrs. Miller grew up around horses, and held a special love for horses all of her life. She enjoyed boating and fishing and tending the flowers in her gardens. She loved to go shopping and enjoyed everybody's company.
She was well liked and respected in her community and will be greatly missed by her close friends and family.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Manship Chapel, Felton Avon Club, Women of the Moose Lodge #534 of Harrington, and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 191 of New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by stepmother, Helen A. Davis.

She is survived by her husband, James H. Miller Sr., of Felton; daughters, Paula Salinas, of El Cajon, Calif., and Karen Seidermann, of Haddonfield, N.J.; 13 step-children in New Jersey; brother, Richard C. Davis, of Ocean City, N.J.; aunt, Mrs. John G. Gilmour Jr., of Cherry Hill, N.J.; seven grandchildren, Kristen (Stu) Johnson, Daniel Salinas, David Salinas, Dane (Denille) Seidermann, Mathias Seidermann, Dylan Seidermann, and Gunnar Seidermann; and two great-grandchildren, Amanda Johnson and Emmett Seidermann.

The first memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec 13, 2013 at the United Methodist Church, Garden St. and 7th Avenue, Haddon Heights, N.J. 08035. Another memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at the Manship Chapel, 4912 Burnite Mill Rd, Felton, DE 19943. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Manship Chapel, 4912 Burnite Mill Rd, Felton, DE 19943.
