FREDERICA — Donald V. “Hoss” Webb passed away on Nov. 16, 2015 at his home. He was the son of the late Derrickson and Virginia Webb.
Hoss was the co-owner of Diamond Painting LLC. He was a painter for over 30 years including his time as a Union painter. He was also a member of the Frederica Fire Company, station 49.
Hoss loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and trapping muskrats. He enjoyed watching Nascar races and loved his dogs.
Hoss was a private, kind, tender hearted person who would give you the shirt off his back. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Hoss is preceeded in death by his brother William D. “Billy” Webb.
Survived by his brothers, Jack Webb of Frederica, Gerald (Deborah) Webb of Harrington; sisters, Polly (Frank) Robbins of Frederica, and Libby (David) Kelley of Felton; two sons, Zachary Lonergan, Doug Coppock; close friend, Kevin Evans of Frederica; special friend, Holly Johnson of Felton and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Friends may call starting at 6 p.m.
