HARRINGTON — Dolores Morris passed away on Aug. 25, 2017 at home with her family after a long seven year battle with cancer. She was 63. She is now at peace and not in pain anymore.
Mrs. Morris worked at Kraft Foods for 36 years before retiring in 2010.
She enjoyed traveling, bingo, pool, and going to the casino. She was a big Dale Earnhardt fan when she watched Nascar. She was the best cook in the family, always making sure there was plenty to eat. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Sherman.
Mrs. Morris is survived by her husband of 46 years, Larry Morris Sr; her son, Larry Morris, Jr.; daughter, Brenda Lawson; grandchildren, Michael Morris, Kayla Morris, and Delaney Lawson; sisters, Sue Stokes (Marty), Jean Murray (Mark), Pat Willey; and brother, Joe Dudeck; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial Services will take place at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy, Harrington, on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017, at 7 p.m. A visitation for family and friends will take place one hour prior.
