Deborah "Debbie" Lee Zeroles

Deborah L. Zeroles, age 71, of Harrington DE, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.  She was born in Easton, MD to Pauline and Merle Lister of Denton, MD.

Debbie graduated from Woodbridge High School in Bridgeville, DE.  She was married 52 years and survived by her husband, Joseph Zeroles of Harrington; daughter, Lisa Zeroles; son, Jason Zeroles; mother, Pauline Lister; 3 grandchildren Yorgi, Brynn, and Luke; 3 brothers, Paul (Jayne) Lister, Scott (Terri) Lister, Daniel (Rhonda) Lister; and 1 sister Sharon (Terry) Breeding; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by loving in-laws George, Linda, and Joni; and mother-in-law Delores Zeroles.

Debbie was preceded in death by her Father, Merle Sr.; brother, Merle Jr.; and niece, Amanda Harrington.

Debbie was very involved in the Farmington Ladies Auxiliary and was President for many years.  She also was a past president of the Kent County Ladies Auxiliary and President Emeritus of the State Ladies Auxiliary.  Debbie had many interests but above all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She also had a special great-nephew, Jullian Harrington whom she helped raise and adored very much.

A Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, October 30th at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwu., Harrington, DE, at 1 PM.  A visitation for family and friends will start one hour prior at 12 Noon.  Burial will follow at St. Johnstown Cemetery in Greenwood with a reception immediately following at the Farmington Fire Hall.

In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Debbie and her love of the Ladies Auxiliary of Farmington, the family has requested donations to the Farmington Ladies Auxiliary at 20920 South Dupont Hwy., Farmington, DE 19950.
