DOVER - Daniel P. Franz passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 in Dover. He was 32.
He is the son of Gregory and Eleanor Franz of Dover.
Family was the most important part of Mr. Franz's life. He loved spending time with his children, family and friends. He was always helping others whenever he could to include stopping to aide motorists along the road or to help anyone in need. Mr. Franz was stubborn and always opinionated but he was a special loving person with a heart of gold who cared for and touch a lot of people.
Mr. Franz and Erica were high school sweethearts falling in love at 16, they spent the next 18 years together.
He is survived by his loving wife, Erica Franz of Dover; sons, Alex and Logan Franz; daughter, Alexis Franz; brothers, Gregory Franz of Harrington, Eddie Ortiz of New York; sister, Marie Franz of Des Moines, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2014 with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Milford Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions be made to defray funeral expenses.
