Claire Miceli

Claire Miceli, of Harrington, passed away November 3, 2018 at Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital at the age of 80. She was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Sheehan.

Claire was a home maker who spent her younger years taking care of her large family.  She had a passion of gardening and loved to paint art.  She was a quiet, tough but fair mother who loved her children very much and always talked about them.

Claire is preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Maffeo; son, James Tague; and 1 grandchild.

Claire is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Robert "Bobby" Miceli; sons: Ronnie, Kevin, and Wayne Tague; daughters, Denise Gilardi (husband Gus) and Suzanne Safranek; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; 2 daughter in laws: Brandy Tague and Veronica Tague.

Funeral services will take place at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952, on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 11AM. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 6-8pm. Burial will be at Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton.
