Cierra Elizabeth Foy

Cierra Elizabeth Foy of Greenwood, DE  passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018.  She was 29 years old.  She was the daughter of Kenneth Foy, Sr and Tammy Foy.

Cierra was a member of the Lake Forest Class of 2006. Never without a notepad, Cierra liked to write poetry and songs. She also liked to read, and taught herself to play the piano and guitar. Though Cierra was often a loner, she enjoyed performing her music for others, and could sing like an angel. Last year she won a karaoke competition in Long Neck. Her creative spirit will be greatly missed.

Cierra is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Caroline Barbee; paternal grandfather, Charles C. Foy, Jr; and brother, Christopher Smith.

She is survived by her parents, Kenneth Foy, Sr. and Tammy Foy; brother, Kenneth "KJ" Foy; sister, Laura Foy; special niece, Shayla Stewart; grandmother, Sandra L. Foy; grandfathers, Melvyn G. Miller, and James Barbee; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service will take place at the Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Rd, Georgetown, DE on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11 AM.  A memorial visitation for family and friends will take place at the church one hour before.
