HARRINGTON — Christine E. Griffith passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at her residence. She was 80. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mae Poore.
Mrs. Griffith was a homemaker, who worked various jobs to meet the needs of her family. In her spare time she loved to crochet, go to the casino, and enjoyed playing Bingo. She especially loved her family and her dog, “Little John”. She will be missed.
She was predeceased by her husband, Aubrey Griffith, daughter, Keitha Griffith, brother, Billy Poore; and her sister, Madeline Kopec.
She is survived by her sons, John Griffith and William K. Griffith; two grandchildren, Stephanie Griffith and Jessica Griffith; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m., with visitation one hour before at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Burial will be private.
