FELTON — Charlotte Stevenson of Felton, Del., passed away May 21, 2012, at her home. She was the daughter of the late, William A. (Dickie) and Lucille Robinson.
Charlotte was a LPN at Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital, and worked in the operating room for over 38 years. She enjoyed her job thoroughly and always had a smile for you when she talked to you in the operating room.
Charlotte was a member of the Felton Fire Company Auxillary. She spent most of her free time at the fire house when she was not working at the hospital. She would help tend bar, make ice cream, or help with the dinners. She was always there to help the fire house out whenever needed.
Charlotte was an avid collector of Aunt Jemima dolls and memorabilia. She was a very outgoing individual who would tell you what she thought. You always knew where she stood on matters.
In addition to the Felton Fire Co., she was a graduate of Felton High School, and a member of the Odd Fellows-Sarah Rebekah Lodge #16.
She is survived by her special friend of 20 years Tommy Killen of Felton.
Service will be held Friday, May 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
