Charlotte M. Brown

Charlotte M. Brown of Georgetown, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 26, 2012.  She was 88.  She was born to the late Anna E. and Howard G. Ahl in Baltimore, MD.

Mrs. Brown was a homemaker.  She loved her family very much, and enjoyed spending time with them as much as possible.  In her spare time, she enjoyed watching soap operas, crossword puzzles and reading her Bible.  She will be sadly missed.

Mrs. Brown belonged to the Asbury Methodist Church and the John Brown Chapter of Merchant Seamans.

Mrs. Brown also served the WWII troops in Baltimore through the USO.  She was very proud of her service to the troops.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Janis E. Kuska, her brother, Joseph A. Ahl, her sisters, Lorraine Hawes and Bernice B. Leary and a grandson, Kyle.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Willard R. Brown of Georgetown; daughter, Karen A. Davis of Baltimore, MD.; and 2 grandchildren.

Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
