Charles Hazel Foraker died Saturday June 25, 2011 at Bayhealth-Kent General in Dover. He was 82. He was born March 29, 1929 in Sandtown, DE, the son of the late Jennie M Foraker and Hazel P. Foraker.
On January 8, 1951, he married Marjorie L. Corkell, who passed away on May 4, 2009. He was a truck driver and maintenance man for Sand-Del gravel pit in Sandtown for many years. Mr. Foraker had also worked in the Newport General Motors Plant. He and his wife lived in Sandtown all of their lives.
He is survived by two sons: Donald L. Foraker of Farmington, James C. Foraker of Felton; and three daughters: Connie D Sommers of Frankford, Jennie L. Short of Wittman, Linda L. Russell of Canterbury. He will also be missed by 11 grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother Noble Wooleyhand, and a sister Marylou Bradley.

Graveside Service will be at Mount Olive Cemetery in Felton, Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 3pm.
