Calvin H. Hill, 85 of Dover, DE passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Roy and Anna Mae Hill.

He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren beyond measure: Kayla (Johel), Kennedie, David (Amanda), Devin; great grandchildren Quin, Adri, Davie “Bubz”, Teddy, Sully, and Bianca.

He was predeceased by both his parents; brothers; Leroy, Chester, Butch, Ray; and sisters, Emma, Ellen, Mary Alice, and Blanche.

He worked for Watkins Auto Supply in Harrington, Nanticoke Homes in Greenwood, and Delaware Transit Authority. He was a member of Calvary Wesleyan Church in Harrington. He served as head usher and took care of many little children while their parents were in worship service. He had a calming effect when the little one’s tears would fall and they needed a hug.
