Brenda M. Sheline

d. January 14, 2024

Brenda M. Sheline, of Harrington, passed away surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the age of 80. She was the daughter of the late, Jessie and Emily Woodall.

Brenda was mainly a homemaker, where her family was her main priority, however, she held many other positions, including being a hairdresser for Vincent Et. Julian, later being a warehouse manager for Custom Decor, and worked as a paralegal while living in Georgia for Levine & Block. Every year for the past 25 years, she looked forward to being an usher in the Grandstands for the Delaware State Fair.

Brenda had many passions including hiking and backpacking with her late husband, cooking, and gardening in her vegetable patch and tending to the beautiful flowers that surrounded her house. She enjoyed going to the beach and playing cards with her friends and family and loved dancing. She played numerous sports throughout her lifetime including golf, basketball, softball, and especially tennis. You could bet she would never miss any of her grandchildren's sporting events. Brenda also loved to travel, and visited 43 states, 17 European countries, and a handful of islands throughout the Caribbean. Travelling was her passion and she looked forward to creating lifelong memories and experiences.

Brenda was a member of the Ladies of the Moose of Harrington, a member of the Greenwood Alumni Association, as a graduate of Greenwood High School, and a longtime member of Calvary Wesleyan Church in Harrington.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Sheline; and brother, Norman Woodall.

She is survived by her three sons, Stephen (Hayley) Sheline, Daniel (Jennifer) Sheline, and Andrew (Kerry) Sheline; 6 grandchildren, Parker Sheline, Ryan Sheline, Dylan Sheline, Declan Sheline, Jack Sheline and Hattie Sheline.

The family would like to thank the Delaware Hospice staff and nurses for the loving care that they showed Mrs. Sheline during her final days.

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to www.christopherreeve.org/ or to the Delaware Hospice, www.delawarehospice.org/donate/
