Bonnie C. Zelo, of Harrington, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, from the Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital. She was 63. She is the daughter of the late William and Hildagod Creed.
Mrs. Zelo was a devoted home maker who loved taking care of her family. She worked in banking most of her life and enjoyed her job. She loved gardening and spending time in her garden. She taught Sunday School for several years and she also loved going to the beach. She was an upbeat person with a huge personality who was very caring and compassionate. She was always worried about everyone else except herself. She loved her animals, her dog Teddy will miss her terribly. Her sweet personality will forever be missed.
She is survived byher loving husband of 44 years, Fred Zelo of Harrington; son, Troy (Linda) Zelo of Felton; brother, William Creed of Long Island, NY.
Service will take place on Sunday, May 25, 2014, at 3 pm, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to: First State Animal Center and SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
