Betty M. Dickinson

Betty M. Dickinson, 87 of Milford, formerly of Taylor’s Bridge, Delaware passed away on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015.  She was born to the late Paul G. and Hester Monroe of Milford.

Mrs. Dickinson had been employed in various positions throughout the years.  Her last position was for the State of Delaware in the Senate Bill Prep department at Legislative Hall for 17 years.  She was also a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Townsend where she sang in the choir.

Mrs.Dickinson is preceeded in death by her husband of 47 years, James L Dickinson III.

She is survived by daughters: Paula M. Dickinson of Milford; Carol (Donald) Dickinson of Smyrna; a grandson Edward Grace IV of Dover; two cousins, Peachie O’Bier of Greenwood and Carolyn Angeline of Claymont; several nieces and nephews and long time family friend Greg George of Magnolia.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the family’s convenience with a private burial.  The family requests contributions to help defray funeral expenses made payable to the funeral home.
