Harrington - Bernadette C. Richardson died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She is the daughter of the late Evelyn and Edward L. Angwin.
Bernadette was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family. She also assisted her husband with the daily operations of their restaurant, Betsy Ross Pizza in Harrington. Bernadette was a true supporter of her children. She was an ice skating mom who took her girls to countless competitions and practices for figure skating. She was president of the Bay Country Ice Skating Club for 5 years. Bernadette's favorite season was summer. She loved to tend her yard outside and being out in the sun, and the pool. She not only loved and cared for her family, but she loved her dogs as well. She was a proud supporter of many animal shelters.
She was truly committed to her family. She cared for her father in her home for over 10 years before his passing. She had a special bond with her 3 year old granddaughter, Evelyn. Although she was strong willed and stubborn at times, she had a heart of gold. When she set her mind to something, she followed through. She will be sadly missed.
Bernadette C. Richardson was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her son, Christopher L. Richardson.
She is survived by her spouse, Ellis C. Richardson IV of Harrington; son, Ellis C.
