Autumn Aument

Autumn Aument and her unborn son, Dominic, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023 at her home, she was 25. Autumn was the daughter of the late, Rochelle Aument.

Autumn was a devoted mother, homemaker, and “wife”.  She loved to spend time with her son, Victor, crafting, finger painting, doing puzzles, journaling, going to zoos, and being the best mother she could be.  Autumn loved watching “The Office” and “Friends” and they stayed looping on the TV.  She took great pride in her home, always making sure it was clean, comfortable, and smelling good from the foods she made, and the candles she picked out precisely for each season.  Autumn’s favorite holiday was Christmas, she loved decorating, listening to Christmas carols, and watching all the Christmas movies, especially "Elf".  Her son was her life and being a mom is something she took great pride in.  She and  Dominic will be dearly missed by many.

In addition to her mother, Autumn is preceded in death by her grandparents, Sherri and Anthony Cabone, Jr.

Autumn is survived by her “husband” Will Legates; son, Victor Legates; brother Christopher Aument and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023 at Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 15522 S. DuPont Hwy, Harrington DE at 1 PM.  A viewing will take place one hour prior, starting at 12 Noon.  Interment will be private.
