Anna F. E. Christian, 82
HARRINGTON — Anna F. E. Christian, formerly of Chaucer Dr., Newark, went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 9, 2013 after a prolonged illness. Anna was born on July 30, 1930 in Clarington, Ohio to Iva and Clarence Kinney. At the time of her death, she was living with her daughter, Pamela Lewis and her husband Larry who took care of her.
Anna held many jobs, most of which as a seamstress, and worked at various businesses such as the Harrington Shirt Factory, ILC of Dover, Playtex, Guida Clothing, Protech Inc. of Dover, and BF Rich of Newark. After retiring, she worked for Hardees of Newark, and several department stores.
Anna was a great mother and tried her best to bring her children up the best she could and give the best she had to offer through her undying love. She enjoyed spending time with her children. She loved to cook, and hosted many holiday functions that brought the family together, as well as Sunday suppers for the whole family. She loved each of her children and gave God the credit for each and every one of them. She loved to read, sew, and after her retirement, watch her soap operas. In her last few years on this earth, Anna enjoyed camping and also showed a love for art, something she did not have time for while raising her children. Anna made many paintings and types of crafts which the family will forever cherish. She will be sadly missed.
