Ann C. Moore

Ann C. Moore, age 79, of Frederica, DE, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, from her home surrounded by her family that cherished her.  She was born in Beckley, WV to the late John Crawford and Virginia Bair.

Mrs. Moore worked as a secretary for many years for many companies including Winner Ford and the Delaware State News.  Mrs. Moore was very athletic.  In high school, she played several sports and excelled in all of them.  She loved to play softball and continued to play ball after she graduated, along with her husband.  In her younger years, she enjoyed going to the beach.  Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family.

She will be remembered as a loving, kind, generous, friendly person, whom everyone liked.  She was very personable and got along with everyone.  She loved to spoil her grandchildren, and her sweet nurturing nature will forever be missed.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sandra Chanault, Helen Travigla; and daughter in law, Vicki Moore.

Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Robert L. Moore; sons, Richard L. Moore of Felton, Mark John Moore of Dover, Robert L. Moore Jr. of Dover;  daughter, Kimberly Ann Moore of Magnolia; sisters, Carol Baker of Harrington, Donna Walters of California, Lenora Brumell of Oxford, PA; grandchildren, Heather Moore, Adam Moore; step grandchildren: Michelle Bryant Stephens, Ron Moore; great grandchildren, Jasmine Sterling, Marcus Moore.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
