Angel V. Orosco of Harrington, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at the Delaware Home for the Chronically Ill, Smyrna, he was 83. He was born to the late Leonarda and Julian Orosco.
Mr. Orosco worked as a foreman to gather crews needed in farming and construction. He was also a tractor trailer driver. He loved farming and spending time on the farm. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, going out to eat, walking, and watching sports, especially football and baseball. He loved to take his granddaughter, Veronica to the store everyday after school to get coffee. All the storeowners around Milford Riverwalk knew him as he visited everyday to feed the ducks and fish. He will be sadly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maria Orosco of Harrington; daughters, Marcey Orosco of Harrington, Josephine Orosco of Navarre, FL; sons, Julian Orosco of Ocala, FL, Gilbert Orosco of Middletown, DE; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Services will be Monday, August 26, 2013 at 11 AM, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
