Agnes E Travers

Agnes Elizabeth Travers, Magnolia, passed away peacefully in her family's presence, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, she was 62.   She was born in Baltimore, MD to the late, Morris Wyatt Sr. and Ruth Ann Steele.

Ms. Travers retired from Walmart.  Her favorite activities, beside spending time with family and spoiling her grandchildren, were fishing, crabbing, shopping, especially for shoes and purses, and getting her nails done.  She loved the Native American culture, and enjoyed exploring with her companion Adolph to sales, thrift stores, farmers markets, etc.

Her family was her life, and she lived for her grandchildren.  She was known to be sassy and stubborn at times, but she would do anything for you.  She cherished family get togethers and being the center of attention.  She will be sadly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister,  Teresa Ann Garris; and a great grandson,  Eric Levi Travers.

She is survived by a daughter, Veronica Hotchkiss (Jason); son, Kurt Travers Jr. (Cynthia); companion, Adolph Green; sisters, Victoria Warren, Tomasina Hawkins (fiancé Jeff Armour), Debbie Carroll, Peggy Swafford (Scott), brothers, Morris Wyatt Jr. (companion Mary Comegys), Clifton Wyatt (Tammy), Brian Wyatt (Sandy); grandsons, Kurt Travers III, Matthew Travers (Paige), Brandon Hrupsa (partner Parkerr Neal); granddaughters, Morgan and Meghan Travers, Kaitlyn Travers (fiancé Jecci Herandez); great granddaughter, Paisley Ameila Mae Travers; great grandsons, Kurtis and Collin Travers; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Ms. Travers will be on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy, Harrington, at 11 AM.  A visitation for family and friends will start at 10 AM.  Interment will take place at the Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
