Janice M. Wheatley

Janice M. Wheatley, of Harrington, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Bayhealth – Kent General Hospital, she was 75.  She was the daughter of the late, James and Doris Osborn.

Ms. Wheatley was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family. She was friendly, outgoing, liked to be busy and would give you her opinion when you asked. She liked to read, complete puzzles, and work on puzzle books.  Ms. Wheatley often attended the various programs at the Greenwood VFW Post 7478.  She was deeply loved by her family.

Ms. Wheatley was a member of the Harrington Baptist Church.  When she was able, she enjoyed being a part of the church choir as well as the Women’s Fellowship.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James A. Osborn.

Ms. Wheatley is survived by her daughter, Terri Mullins (Harold) of Harrington; sons, Mark Wheatley of Salisbury and Kirk Wheatley (Sherrie) of Buchanan, GA; four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday, June 30th, at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington at 12:00 Noon.  Interment will follow at the Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.  A visitation for family and friends will take place one hour prior to the service.                             .
