Dennis Lee "Buck" Bradley

Dennis Lee "Buck" Bradley, Greenwood, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 19, 2024, he was 80.  Buck was born in Milford, DE to the late, Wilbur Harvey and Pearl Bradley.

Buck was a 1962 graduate of Harrington High School.  He served his country proudly in the US Navy from 1964-1968.  In 1974, he returned to Delaware to help his father with farming.  In addition to farming, he was also a heavy equipment operator and worked for Melvin Joseph Construction Co,. and Bramble Construction Co.   His love of farming continued even in his retirement years. 

In his free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR races, and when asked who was his favorite driver, he always responded with, "Anyone who runs a Chevy".  Almost every day, you could find him in his shed with friends, family, and neighbors hanging out and enjoying life.  He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Patsy Carter, Nancy Beene, Douglas Beene.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Harlene Taylor Bradley; children, Nora Smith, Laura (Kevin) Minnich, Michael (Julia) Goff, Jonathan (Monica) Goff; siblings, Betty Jean Petersen, Wilbur Bradley Jr.; grandchildren, Ria Ogden, Regan Ogden, Kenzi Minnich, Kevin Minnich, Jace Goff, Makayla Goff, Payton Goff, Daniel Alvarez, Victoria Alvarez, Briana Alvarez, Shawn Wilson, Matthew Wilson; 5 great grandchildren.

Services for Buck will be on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE, at 1 PM.  A public visitation will start one hour prior at 12 noon.  Interment will be at the Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
