Wilma J. Brown

Wilma Jewel Brown, Felton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, she was 83.  She was born in Asbury, West Virginia, the daughter of the late, Kathleen and James Robert Harvey.

Mrs. Brown was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She loved attending to her flower gardens.  She also enjoyed sitting on her front porch watching the hummingbirds and reading a good book.

She is preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce and Janet; granddaughter, Nicole; and son in law, Kevin.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Terry Brown; daughters, Teresa Curry, Sharon Cantara (Art); son, Gary Brown (Judy), sister, Judy Macaluso (Andy); grandchildren, Jim, Joe, Josh, Jenna, Christy; and 8 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Brown will be on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE, at  1 PM.  A public visitation will be held starting at 12 noon.  Interment will be private.
