Ronald Williams Sr. Obituary

Ronald Williams Sr. passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at his home, he was 85.  Mr. Williams was born in Camden, NJ to the late, John and Melinda Williams.

Mr. Williams served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.  Upon his honorable discharge, he went straight to work for PSE&G in New Jersey, where he was a jack of all trades.  He was a hard worker, loved his job, and quickly moved up in the company.  After almost 50 years, he retired and settled down in Delaware.

While raising his sons, he taught them how to play tennis.  He loved to go camping, and owned many campers over the years, and all of them were his "babies", he enjoyed taking care of them.  He loved to travel and the family spent many nights camping.  He also loved Jazz music, and carpentry, helping to build and fix many things.  In his retirement, he enjoyed gardening and taking care of his garden and flower beds.  Mr. Williams was proud of his Native American heritage and being a part of the Nanticoke Indian ancestry.  He will be greatly missed.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, and tragically followed in death by his son, Ronald Williams, Jr a few days later.

He is survived by his sons, Wendell D. Williams, Voschell A. Williams; half sister, Gwendolyn Green; 5 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Williams will be at a later date at the family's discretion.
