Robert L. Moy

Robert L. Moy, 85, of Harrington, DE passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.  

He was born in Indiana to the late William and Mary Moy.

Mr. Moy proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1956 until his honorable discharge in 1962. He enjoyed building things and went on to the carpentry millwright field. He worked for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America for more than 50 years.  

Some of Robert’s hobbies included: flying, boating, camping, gardening, and building things, particularly toys and furniture.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his son, William J. “Billy” Moy and brother, William Moy .

He is survived by his loving wife, Johanna M. Moy; daughters Deborah Moy Cordonnier, Margaret M. Coughlin, Karolyn A. McCusker (David); son, Robert L.”Bobby” Moy, Jr; grandsons, Michael J. Coughlin, Jr., Matthew J. Coughlin, Dylan J. McCusker, Joshua C. McCusker; siblings, Donald Moy, Bette Garland, John Moy; and his grand doggies, Precious Coughlin and CoCo McCusker.

Services for Robert will be held at the Delaware Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery (South), 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
