Maria M. Skupejko

Maria Magdelina Solis Skupejko, of Harrington, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 5, 2023, she was 77.  Her family and friends can be at peace knowing she did not suffer before her death.

Maria was a pillar of the community throughout every community she was a part of. From raising hundreds of children in Westampton, NJ, to a friendly face at her church, St Bernadette's in Harrington, DE. Her spirit and presence will live on in the lives of those she has touched.

She was welcomed into her eternal home by two of her children, Lori and Steve, her siblings, and her parents.

Maria is survived by her husband, Ed Skupejko, her daughter, Victoria, her grandchildren, Abigail and Dominic, and great grandchildren Michael, Layla, and Eric, and also survived by three of her siblings, Victoria, Ruben, and Eddie.

A Visitation for Maria will be on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE, between 10 and 10:45 AM.  A Mass will take place immediately after at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 109 Dixon St, Harrington, DE 19952, at 11 AM.  Burial will be private.
