Lorraine A. Farrall

Lorraine A. Farrall of Harrington, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, she was 67.  She was born in Bordentown, NJ to the late, Darrell R. and Grace M. Murray.

Mrs. Farrall was a homemaker.  She loved her family immensely, and always put others first, above herself.  In her spare time, she enjoyed going on motorcycle rides with her husband, going on vacations, especially cruises, and being outdoors.  She enjoyed her flowers, and her hummingbirds.  She had a love for animals, her cats, her Pug named Jasper, and her Lord. 

Some of the things that will be missed the most, are her kind heart and unique laugh.  She loved to laugh and have a good time.  Her family was always top priority, and if she could not see you in person, you better believe she was face-timing you.  She looked forward to spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will be sorely missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Donald Murray, Marsha Dill, Darrell Murray Jr.; brother in law, Brian Gillespie; and sister in laws, Sue Murray and Jean Murray.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas R. Farrall; daughter, Carrie Campbell; siblings, Marcus Murray, Michael Murray, Sharon Pearce, Terri Gillespie;  son in law, James Campbell;  grandchildren, Liam, Hunter, Shian, Jamie; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Farrall will be on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE, at 1 PM.  A public visitation will start one hour prior at noon. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to help defray funeral expenses are greatly appreciated, payable to the funeral home.
