Lawrence "Larry" Kosiorowski Obituary

Lawrence "Larry" P. Kosiorowski, Harrington, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021

Larry was born in Huntington, NY and moved to Delaware at a young age with his family and called Delaware home.  He was a 1979 graduate of Lake Forest High School where he excelled in wrestling and soccer.  Larry was a workaholic.  By trade, he was a heavy equipment operator in construction for many years.  Where there was work, there was Larry, he was never afraid of a hard days work, and he loved to help anyone in need if they needed anything done.  When he was not hard at work, which was hardly ever, he enjoyed his Dallas Cowboys and Nascar racing, loved taking care of horses and enjoyed horse racing.

Larry will be remembered not only for his hard work ethic, but his kindness, and thoughtfulness of others.  To know him was to love him, he had an amazing sense of humor and loved joking around. He could make friends anywhere he went and he will be greatly missed.

Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Gajewski; and his sister Jackie Rea and brother Mikey Kosiorowski.

He is survived by his wife, Starla Kosiorowski; sons, Miles (Megan) Kosiorowski, Marc (Courtney) Kosiorowski and granddaughter Lorelei; Step children, Ashley Weiss, Zachary (Tabby) Weiss, Dylan Weiss; step grandchildren, Harliegh, MaKenna, Bentley, Kayson, Aiden, McKenna ; siblings, Bernice Gajewski, Jerry (Carol) Gajewski, Pete (Eileen) Kosiorowski, Debbie Kirk, Ronnie (Dawn) Kosiorowski, Sissy Bauer, Paul (Sally) Kosiorowski , Joe (Sallyann) Lorefice, Angelo Lorefice; father and mother in law, Eugene and Barbara Fincher; sister in law, Kim (Ken) Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services will be private by the immediate family only.  Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's memory to your local law enforcement or veterans organization
