Kimberley Rentz

Kimberley Rentz, 53 of Frederica, DE passed away suddenly on Friday, November 18, 2022.  She was the daughter of Irene Shahan.  

Kim attended Lake Forest High School and spent her life as a homemaker taking great care of her family. She enjoyed family get togethers, watching her grandchildren, growing tomatoes, and shopping. She was a loving, and caring person, with a fire cracker personality, that could be tough when she needed to be.

Kim is preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Shahan

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 35 years, Steven Rentz, Sr.; sons, Steven Rentz, Jr. (Carol Zistl), Justin Rentz (Amanda); daughter, Katie Rentz; grandchildren, Steven Rentz, III, Addison Wands, Waylon Rentz, and Luke Rentz; brother, Kasey Shahan, and sister, Tonya Edge.  

A service Celebrating the life of Kim Rentz will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE 19952. Visitation for family and friends will be held one-hour prior beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow the service at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, DE.
