Gregory A Letterman

Gregory A. Letterman, 40 of Cheswold passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023. He was the son of Ronald Letterman and Beverly Letterman.

Gregory was a graduate of Polytech High School.  He was also a 24-year member of the Felton Odd Fellows, Lodge #30.  He was a great carpenter and a good cook, and worked in both trades throughout his lifetime.  Gregory loved his whole family dearly.  He cherished his time with his kids and was like a big kid himself, making forts and having movie nights with them.  He also enjoyed spending time with his brothers and friends, playing basketball or just hanging out.  Fishing, skateboarding, swimming, and camping were other activities he was fond of in his free time.  Gregory was a happy go lucky, outgoing person that could tenaciously do anything he put his mind to doing.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Gregory is preceded in death by his sister, Jeri Letterman; maternal grandparents, Robert and Myrtle Hammond; and paternal grandfather, Oscar J. Letterman.

He is survived by his loving companion of 19 years, Jessica Pritchett; children, Wesley, Lillian, and Selina Letterman; parents, Beverly Letterman and Ronald Letterman; brothers, Matthew and Brian Letterman; and paternal grandmother, Peggy Letterman.

Services for Gregory will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE 19952. A viewing will take place one hour prior starting at 12:00 noon.  Interment immediately following the service will be at Milford Community Cemetery, Milford, DE.
