Dominique J Griffith

Dominique J. Griffith, 25, of Harrington, DE passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 10, 2023. He was the son of Dana M. Baker and Joseph E. Griffith.

Dominique was a 2016 graduate of Lake Forest High School. He played on the high school’s basketball team, and then went on to play semi-professional basketball for the Delaware Eastern Shore Generals. He worked as a delivery driver. Dominique had a love of music since childhood and was forging a career as a musical artist, having produced 5 albums on iTunes.

Dominique was a fan of Cincinnati Bengals football, but his biggest joy in life was being a dad, and devoting time to his family.  Though he was straight forward, he had a smile that would light up a room. He could be described as a bright, out-going, leader, who was a hard worker, loving, sweet, kind and ambitious. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

In addition to his parents, Dominique is survived by his children; Kamalei Griffith, and Dominique J. Griffith, Jr.; brothers, Joseph A. Griffith and Ja’von Gibbs; sister, Taryn Lynn Griffith; maternal grandparents, Steve and Debbie Baker; aunt, Dannielle Wilson; uncles, Shawn Scott and Steve Baker, Jr.; bonus parents, Michele & Antonio Haigler and their children; close family friend, Dontra Bolden; and a host of cousins, extended family and countless friends.  

A Celebration of Life will be held privately at the family’s discretion.
