Carol Ann Hawkins

Carol Ann Hawkins of Harrington, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, she was 52.  She was born in Easton MD to the late, Larry and Ida Pearl Moss.

Carol Ann worked as a manager for Hardees of Harrington.  She loved her job and enjoyed working there.  When she was not busy at work, she enjoyed reading, shopping, or catching up on her TV programs, especially her soaps.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and having them around.  She also enjoyed visiting the casino.  Her phone was always in her hand, and she enjoyed watching videos and playing on her phone. 

Carol Ann will be remembered as sweet, caring, but also stubborn at times, but she would do anything for anybody.  She had a sharp wit that will be missed by all that knew her, and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Melinda) Hawkins II, Ryan Field; daughter, Marissa Hawkins; siblings, June Marvel, Candace Moss, Jimmy Moss; grandchildren, Michael Hawkins III, Levi Hawkins, Aliyah Howdershelt; companion, Charles Hicks; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Services for Carol Ann will be on Monday, January 30, 2023, at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington, DE, at 12 PM.  A public visitation will be held starting at 11 AM.  Interment will be at the East New Market Cemetery.
