Obituary

Betty L Frazier, 92 of Felton, passed away at home, on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.  She was the daughter of the late Nelson D and Catherine T Lockwood.

Betty retired from the Diamond State Telephone Company in 1984 after 37 years of employment. Following that she worked at the First National Bank of Wyoming as a teller for 12 years, and completed her working career as a guide at the Barratts Chapel Museum.

Betty was an active 50-year member of the Viola (now Felton/Viola) United Methodist Church, where she served as Treasurer, and President of the Willing Workers. She was a member of the Singing Ladies/Round Table Club of Wyoming and sang with the Sweet Adelines of Kent County.  In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, music, crafts and traveling.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall “Jack” Frazier; brother-in-laws, Virgil Frazier, Bruce (Doris) Frazier, Glenn (Lorraine) Frazier, Ray (Kitty) Frazier, and Claude Peterson.

She is survived by: her brother, Linford N Lockwood (Estelle), sister, Joan L Peterson; sister-in-law, Ruth Frazier; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Sharon Hills Cemetery, Dover, DE on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 10:00AM. Mask wearing and social distancing will be required according to State of Delaware/CDC guidelines.
