Ana M Beene

Ana M Beene, 81 of Milford DE peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 7, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Ramon and Etervina Negron

Ana retired from Milford Memorial Hospital (Bayhealth) after 20 years of service as a certified coder in the medical records department , but later came back and continued working for the hospital. She was a member of the Milford Senior Center and Milford “Curves” where she loved to dance and exercise. Ana was an outgoing, friendly person that always had smile, and was a loving and supportive mother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Ana is preceded in death by her siblings: Jose Negron, Carmen Amos, Virginia “Cookie” Sandrovich, and Manuel Negron.

She is survived by her sons Miguel Hernandez (Sandy) and Manuel Hernandez (Sheryl); brothers, Daniel Negron, Josue Negron; sisters Esther Negron, Lydia Reeves, Mary Mora, Leonilda "Rosie" Seay, Rachuel Roberts, Lin Petrucci, and Felicia Mercado; and 1 grandchild, Michael Steven Hernandez; and her special friend, Bobby Beene.

A walk-through visitation for family and friends will be held from 11AM-1PM, on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy, Harrington, DE. Funeral services will be private.  Internment will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington, DE.  We are adhering to the CDC and Delaware guidelines of occupancy limits, social distancing, and masks.
