Alice Louise Potter

Alice Louise Potter, Felton, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 7, 2023 at home, at the age of 86.  She is the daughter of the late Raymond Hopkins and Amy Brown.

In her younger years, Louise was a telephone operator for the Diamond State Phone Company.  She was a former member of the Harrington Senior Center.

Louise was an easy-going homemaker who enjoyed country music, especially Johnny Cash, and Phillies baseball.  She loved animals, especially her beagles, Bo, Freckles, and Fanny.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin W. Potter; siblings, Johnny Hopkins, Rose Boyd Messick Steelman, Joyce Ann Hughes, and Charles T. Brown Jr.

Louise is survived by her son, Ben Potter, several nieces and nephews, and extended family.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023 at Hopkins Cemetery in Felton, at 12 Noon.
