William F. “Bud” Moffett, Jr, 72 of Harrington, DE passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at home surrounded by those he loved. He was the son of the late Susan and William F. Moffett, Sr.

William retired from Playtex after 48 years, working in various positions. The last being as a forklift driver. More than anything, Bud enjoyed spending time with his family. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he enjoyed watching them wrestle, play ball or whatever they were involved in. Bud was a good storyteller, always prompt, and liked to kid around with others. He was fun, caring, and if you were his friend, you were his friend forever. He was well loved by all who knew him, and will be greatly missed.
