Patricia A. Boyd

Patricia A. Boyd, Felton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from Genesis-Milford Center, she was 85. Mrs. Boyd was born in Altoona, PA to the late, David and Grace Richards.

Mrs. Boyd worked as a seamstress for the Milford Stitching Outlet for over 25 years.  She specialized in the cutting and sewing of bedspreads and drapes. When she was not hard at work, Mrs. Boyd enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening. She also enjoyed sewing things at home and crafting.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James Boyd Sr.; a daughter, Ginger Stoops; sons, Willard Boyer, William Boyer and Timmy Boyer; sisters, Shirley Begalke, Donna Richards, Linda Rader.

She is survived by her son, David (Donna) Boyer; daughters, Karen (James Boyd, Jr), Ann M. Weider; Son In Law Mike Stoops; stepchildren, Jeannie (Bob) Shahan, Jackie Boyd, Paula Boyd, Susan (Mike) Hofstetter, David (Tisha) Boyd; sisters, Judy Sheppard, Bonnie Brown, Reba Brown; 16 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will take place at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy, Harrington, DE on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 1:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior starting at 12 Noon. Interment will follow immediately after the service at Hopkins Cemetery, Felton.
